Hey Big Spender

So I got the first "professional" massage of my life last night in Luang Prabang. It was more of a back rub than a massage, but the view overlooked the Mekong and the price was about right ($5/hour).

Jenn and I just got into Vang Vieng, Laos. The scenery in this area is incredible - we went to a mulberry farm and had an awesome dinner while watching the sunset over a mountain. The culture here is a bit lacking though... it's sort of like spring break threw up here. Oh well... we'll stick around for a few days and check out some local caves and rivers. We may even indulge in the classic Vang Vieng tubing trip.

After Vang Vieng we'll head down to Vientien on our way to Thailand. We may even be able to kayak to the Thai border from here (2 day trip). That would be sweet.

  2. Nope. Not so prevalent in Laos. Your question reminds me of a funny story though... ask me next time you see me.
