Fury and confusion grip her face as she realizes that the camera failed to turn on. The monkey mother with her baby clinging to her stomach can only hold their pose for so long. The battery was charged recently. The memory cards in right. What could be wrong?
Well... we don't know if it was the sun tan lotion bath, or the 110 degree Malaysian sun. It could have been that we dropped it almost 2 million times. We often take it jogging, and Jim doesn't hesitate to keep it in his back pocket while he's sitting. It could be any number of things, but our trusty Cannon Powershot circa 2003 has finally died.
It's been a good run. You've had a good life little guy. We're sorry we abused you, but we'd like to think you enjoyed the bulk of it. You should go to your trashcan grave knowing that no camera will ever be able to replace you... even though we bought a new one yesterday. I don't want to say it's better... but it turns on though. You know how it goes.

R.I.P you little workhorse, you were loved
Note: (this is a stock photo... for obvious reasons)
Oh yeah... bonus points to anyone that can identify what the title is from. Pretty obscure - even with your precious little Google.
ReplyDeleteCan we get a poignant montage of all the great times the three of you had together?
