After months of planning our Asian adventure, Jim and I are set to fly to Tokyo this morning. Neither of us are excited yet and we're waiting for the concept to sink in.
The final preparations have been sort of nerve wracking. Everyone has been asking us - how do you truly plan for seven months of travel? Do we have enough socks? Our attitude has been that people around the world have the same basic needs, so we can always aquire more stuff along the way.
Last night we flew up from Knoxville to Chicago and stayed with our buddy Josh. He picked us up from the airport, took us to a local pub and let us crash at his awesome apartment. Thanks buddy!
That's all we have time for... our airport chariot (Josh's car) awaits!
