Jammed Packed Japan

It's been a jammed packed week in Japan, and while Jim briefly mentioned some of his favorites, I thought I'd write a bit about mine.

No trip to Tokyo is complete without a trip to the fish market. It was amazing to see an incredible amount of fish being auctioned and sold to wholesale buyers. Definitely worth making the trip at 5am - especially for the sashimi and beer breakfast (thanks for the tip Bob).
<- John caught a big one : )

After a week of sightseeing all over Tokyo, Yuju arranged for us to "take a rest" at his favorite Japanese hot spring, or onsen. Here you can bathe in mineral enriched water heated by volcanoes. We arrived on a rainy night, which made the gardens look all the more beautiful. Laine, you would have loved this - much better than the ones in San Fran.

Now it's off to Kyoto - thanks you so much Yuju and Maho for making our stay so wonderful. You guys are the best!

Hugs,
Jenn : )
